Tian Xu is a partner at Eiger’s Shanghai office and leads its China practice. Tian is admitted to the PRC bar and has abundant experience with respect to compliance, unfair competition, employment, white collar crimes, and intellectual property infringements. Tian’s practice spans a broad spectrum of industrial sectors, including consumer products, luxury retail, logistics, steel production, automotive, mechanical engineering, telecommunication, and aviation, etc.

Representative Work:

• Advised a U.S. material characterization instrument manufacturer on commercial bribery-related matters, and conducted FCPA investigation in the PRC.
• Advised a German steel company on investigating an advance-fee scam and taking remedial actions in the PRC.
• Advised a Swiss premium watch brand on conducting a set of fraud investigations and related commercial disputes.
• Advised a Swiss manufacturer of premium tool-holding systems on investigation into compliance issues involving senior management of local subsidiaries and subsequent dismissal and change of management team.
