Nathan Kaiser has two decades of professional experience in Shanghai, Taipei, and Beijing, advising clients in all matters pertaining to foreign investment, transactions, compliance, and cross-border taxation as well as disputes. He has a special interest in new technologies and the digital economy. With this background, Mr. Kaiser has been focusing on compliance and white collar crime in Greater China, regularly handling cases ranging from internal fraud to corruption, with close attention to and contact with government authorities, regulators, and law enforcement, especially in China with state-owned entities. The demanding legal and political environment has been a challenge but also a point of pride for Nathan, who at all times remains focused on outcomes for clients while upholding the law, even within exacting policy and regulatory conditions. Mr. Kaiser commutes between Greater China, Switzerland, and Cambridge in the USA, where he is currently a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University.
